Hello! My name is Cynthia (Cindy) Wood. I started my doll repainting business in 2006 and immensely enjoy the versatile creativity these wonderful sculpts allow. Art and dolls have been my passion all of my life. I have created many portraits in charcoal, graphite and colored pencils. My interests also include ceramics and painting porcelain dolls, where I've competed in local doll shows and won several First Place and Best of Show ribbons.

After my first discovery of a gorgeous repaint I was instantly hooked and searched daily to find more beautiful repaints. These gifted artist's work amazed me and I knew because of my love of dolls and art this was something I had to attempt. I cut out pictures of faces, makeup, keeping a library of anything that would help me achieve a realistic face. Repainting takes lots of practice and patience! Many a face has been wiped off and redone multiple times before I'm satisfied. Photographing your dolls well is equally important and is most challenging for me.

I fell in love with the art of repainting and attempt to paint as much realism into my dolls so they appear life-like. Realism, details, personality, and the highest quality are most important to me. I sell my repaints on ebay and do not take commissions at the time.
